This would be a great location for someone to build a house or camp in order to take advantage of a variety of Lake Ontario area activities.  It may also be a desirable location for a seasonal business that caters to local recreation and tourism, as Route 3 is a major thoroughfare.  This site is central to numerous other great destinations including; The St. Lawrence River/Thousand Islands, The Salmon River Reservoir, Oneida Lake, the Adirondacks and Canada.  Syracuse is about 1 hour south and Watertown roughly 25 minutes north.  They say the three most important criteria for a property is location, location, location.  This may just be the right location for you!
