About Me
Craig has been a lover of outdoors his entire life. During college, Craig traveled the East Coast pursuing his love of fishing and outdoor adventure. After graduating with a degree in Education from The Slippery Rock University in 1998 he moved to Virginia to teach and enjoy the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. Craig’s love of Western Pennsylvania brought him back to Slippery Rock in 2001 where he resides with his wife and 2 children on their 112-acre hobby farm.
Craig has been an educator for over 22 years, holding certificates in English as a Second Language, General Science, and Special Education. Helping children, especially through fostering a love of the outdoors, has been a fulfilling career.
Working as an educator, Craig has his summers free to pursue his other passions. His greatest outdoor passion, fishing, includes bass tournament fishing and pond management. Raising perch, bass, and hybrid striper in his 4-acre pond, has provided Craig valuable knowledge on fish behavior and pond management. The fishing industry has allowed him the opportunity to travel the country attending outdoor shows, fishing seminars, and most recently, take part in the nationally televised filming of Fishing University. When Craig is not fishing, he spends most of his time outdoors managing his land. He enjoys planning and designing his land to benefit wildlife by planting corn, food plots, oak trees, and chestnut trees.
Craig joined Timberland Realty in 2020 because of their focus on the outdoor enthusiast. Craigs goal is to help others achieve their dream of owning property by making the right connections between buyers and sellers.
